The first excellent comment from the speaker representing NTU, was the notion that we should stop talking about resources, and rather talk about Human Capital. This means we need to invest in this asset, let it grow and this will give us excellent return.
Now, how can we address the people challenges mentioned above? This is where Organisational Health comes in. As a business we need to be smart & healthy. A healthy organisation will nurture stronger people; which will then unleash their potential (smartness) to build stronger businesses. And here a first important notion: a strong business looks at long-term, high quality results. What are the key components that will cultivate stronger people?
Great to see these topics addressed by the small and medium-sized enterprises in Singapore; developing and strengthening the right leadership behaviour which leads to better people, better businesses, and better society. Event details: 2GATHER@ASME: Stronger People, Stronger Business
